I just got turned down for the D*C art show. I didn't meet their criteria. They didn't say why.

Not sure, but apparently the others are much better than me. Having been to the art show before, yea, the art usually rocks. Thought I'd be about par for the course, but maybe they've got some really kick ass ones this year.

FOr the past couple years one of the mailing lists i'm on, the one for scifi/fantasy artists showing at scifi/fantasy cons, has been complaining about the Art show & jury process for D*C. some kind of upper echelon shake up meant the reasonable people left and the snobby-stupid people took their spots. Doesn't make getting rejected suck any less, but at least it's not you.

Funny thing is... I've been in the art show twice before. Back when I was volunteering and working with Pat (old director of art show). Back then, it was a mix of talent levels.
