Busy week! The time I have off now, between work days, is spent trying to get it all together before I start my new job and have NO weekdays off. Yesterday was spent finishing my final project for Instructional Media and catching up on my YA lit class, organizing for the book events of the week, going to the doctor for my pre-employment physical, ( Read more... )

I love the idea of a writing loft. Although if it's hot up there, don't wait until full summer to clean!

Fortunately it's cleaned out. Now with the electric done, we can place wood over the exposed beams beyond the current floor, under the eaves, and shove the remaining crap under there to open up the space. Then I can just move all my writing and sewing stuff into the dormer area. I have plans for the front part of the room too, but that might have to wait a year or two. It involves squashy armchairs and a rug.

I'm working on getting a/c up there.

It's the cleaning of the downstairs space, where Boy is currently putting all his crap, that's going to take up the time. :) Kid's a mess.

You looked bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. Although a little chilly - it was colder out than it seemed.
