Fixing the kitty

No, not that kind. She's already done with that. Our "new" kitty, that we've had for six months, recently started marking. Or maybe she's been doing it all along and we just noticed. Anyway, she marks in one particular room. All the websites say take her to the vet to see if it's some kind of medical problem, but I just didn't think it was. She ( Read more... )

Our Alias went all over the house at first- including behind the big, heavy entertainment center. It was driving us nuts, but eventually we realized that she wanted privacy.

I shudder to think how many people would've had her put to sleep, when a covered litterbox solved the problem instantly.

She has TWO covered litterboxes :), and she needs them because she's a sprayer. My walls wouldn't survive without the cover. Hubby was getting really frustrated, but this has been just a godsend. She was just so skittish. You're right, others might have just given up.

And they trust us. It would've felt like a betrayal. Thank goodness for covered boxes!
