No, not weekend, but week-end. Maybe that should be 'week's end'. I dunno. Anyway, it's finally Friday. Lots happened this week - I worked three days in a row, one elementary (THIRD grade, NOT Fourth - there's a difference!) and they weren't too bad, then two middle school. I discovered that I NEVER want to teach Eighth grade. Ever. I adore sixth

When I first started subbing, I was k-12. But the high school kids were all bigger than I was, and I didn't even want to attempt jr. hi, so I went k-6. After the sixth grade GATE (gifted and talented education... in what, sadism??) that made me cry, I gave in and went k-2. It was a relief for everyone. ;)
