Wow, that really makes me want to learn sign language. That's really awesome. My roommate watched it with me and she was analyzing the sentence structure and we had a neat conversation about sign language being a three-dimensional language. Pretty neat stuff!

Is that the usual sign for "mama" - thumb on chin and fingers out?

(It's rather like the BSL for "fish" (fish to eat, rather than live fish) except that the fingers wiggle there!)

Yep, that's the ASL sign for mother. Interesting that it resembles the BSL sign for fish! :-)

Father is the same except on the forehead.

Also, interesting that BSL makes the distinction between live fish and dead fish. As far as I know, ASL doesn't have an equivalent distinction.
