You should read the Richard Wilbur version, or the Rodger McGough version, which is even funnier. I'm using the first one for my research paper on the play, and I used the second version in the production of Tartuffe I was in (I played Dorine), and I've also read the DOver Thrift version, which I really don't recommend because it's not even written in verse.

You should try to see the Broadway Archive or the show itself, it really is quite amazing. The best theatre experience I've had.
