I'm glad to hear you like the movie. I've been on the fence about seeing this, but am slowly changing my mind. As much as I love Book Holmes and Basil Rathbone as Movie Holmes I think Robert Downey, Jr. will eventually win me over.
I really did like it. To be fair, I've never seen any other TV or movie adaptations of Sherlock Holmes, so I had nothing to compare this movie to. (Perhaps I should have mentioned that in my post.) But as an entertaining action movie, it's worth seeing, in my opinion.
