Top Ten Tuesday: Most anticipated reads of 2012

Jan 03, 2012 23:14

Haven't done this meme in a while, but I'd like to get back into it.  This week's Top Ten Tuesday asks for the 10 books you're most excited to read in 2012. My picks, in no particular order, are below. Not all of these books will be published in 2012, mind you; some of them are older, but I'm still excited to read them this year!

1. The Spirit War ( Read more... )

There's another Lauren Willig out in February, as well. The Garden Intrigue!

You know, that is totally what I meant. The Orchid Affair came out in 2011, and I have already read it. Oops -- off to fix it now!

My older sister reads almost nothing but Austen-inspired books. Her favorites are based on Pride and Prejudice. I think she's in love with Mr. Darcy.

Great list, although I haven't heard of any of the authors before! Mr Tilney is very irresistable - I'll keep my eye out for that book.

I'm definitely looking forward to reading it, although I might try to get it from the library rather than buying.

Thumbs up with The Time in Between (I'd forward you to a review I wrote of it but I think it contains some spoilers); I found it to be a unique Spanish Civil War/WW2 novel.

Oooh, I'm intrigued about Henry Tilney's Diary; I haven't read any of the diaries by her but they all sound interesting!

Well, once I read The Time in Between (and I'm just waiting for a copy from the library!), if you think of it, comment on that entry with a link to your review! Would love to compare notes, and I'm glad you liked it.
