I got Haruki Murakami's new novel 1Q84. I also received Grimm's Complete Fairy Tales. I love them both to pieces already. <3

Glad you're enjoying your book haul! All my Murakami-loving friends are freaking out (in a good way) over 1Q84.

I can't wait to begin it, though I'm going to wait until the new year starts before I sink my teeth into. The first book of the year always has to be a special one.

Oooh, gift cards! Excellent. :)

After several years of not receiving a single book for Christmas and actually considering not including any titles on my wish list, I hit the motherlode this year and got everything I'd asked for. Lucky me!!

One of my books that you might like is Jane by April Lindner. The premise is "What if Jane Eyre fell in love with a rock star?" What if, indeed? I can't quite imagine so can't wait to find out.

Glad you got a nice stack of books you really wanted!

I have actually read April Lindner's Jane, and overall I thought it was pretty good. I look forward to seeing what your own thoughts are once you read it!

I must have skipped your review, knowing that I wanted to read it myself and afraid of spoilers. I'll definitely let you know what I think of it. I'm hoping to post more reviews in 2012. :)
