I agree--their relationship seems anticlimatic! I wanted more oomph, although the setting atop the airship was pretty spectacular. Now I'll only have to imagine what it must be like for those two to work for Barlow...

It was definitely anticlimactic! I wasn't really reading this series for the romance, so I was able to overlook the lack of tension somewhat, but it was definitely a weaker aspect of this book! Fortunately I enjoyed the adventure and sci-fi elements of the story much more. Would love to read more about this universe, perhaps at the Zoological Society...
