to be honest i'm glad he wasn't the one behind everything. That would of been a dumb way to bring him back, as an attempted murderer. I do have to admit i was disappointing when he didn't show up, but i had a feeling it was gonna be matt anyways. I'm pretty sure he's still returning but now it's just not so obvious in what way. IMO that's a good thing.
Honestly I doubt it considering Dixie already said he was jumping back. I don't see them removing him from the roster if they were still in any talks whatsoever.
As much as I hate to purely trust news reports, everything seems to be under the impression that he's still reaching a deal with WWE. There was never any confirmation that he had signed a contract.
The thing is, like with say Jericho, everyone was led to believe it would happen one week and then it didn't happen. Next week, didn't happen. Maybe they're trying to keep their secrets a bit better.
