It's about 30 minutes before I get to leave and go home for the day, and I am having the argument that I have with myself every Thursday afternoon: To bowl, or not to bowl? That is the question ( Read more... )

The reason I say no is:

When setting up your poll you put No before Yes, I take this as you know that you should stay in the league. Most people would have put Yes before No. Does this make sense? Subconciously you put the No first.....

That makes some sense. I don't guess that I had thought about it that way, but I was leaning toward no.

Tonight I actually did have fun, and made the decision to stick with it. I was glad to see that everyone here corroborated my decision.

I'd finish out the season, though I don't know how long it lasts. Maybe next time you can pass on participation, depending on how you feel at the end.

That's exactly what I'm going to do. I actually bowled my average 2 out of 3 games, and won't be bowlong again until the beginning of the year next year. The time off will be good. This league is also about 6 weeks shorter than the other ones, so it will be over soon enough.
