I wish you had posted information about why Thomas is called the Twin - I think it's found in one version of the events in the Synaxorion. It's actually a very striking thing to begin the Orthodox year with 'the disciple with two minds'. It speaks to me, since I doubt often.

By the way, I sent you a message, but I don't think you've seen it. My parish uses the ROCOR obikhod. Do you have any links to video or audio recordings online? I'm trying to learn the 8 tones, but I fare very badly when I learn them by referring to notations.

Me too! I love that he was so eager and willing to die for Christ. Sure, it didn't work out, but I just think he's such a neat witness, full of zeal and spiritedness.
