Fourth Sunday in Lent
The commemoration this Sunday is of St. John of the Ladder, who wrote a book called The Ladder of Divine Ascent (hence the surname) which monastics traditionally read during Lent. I have never read the book, and know very little about it. Thus, this weekend more than any other during this time of year, I have nothing much to say about it
