Another great chapter! I only know some fairly basic details about LOTR lore, so it was little hard for me to follow everything, but I love the way you're mixing LOTR with SN so completely. :)
Thank you! :D PJ left the Barrow-wights and Tom Bombadil out of the movies, so that part might indeed be hard to follow if you haven't read the books. The Barrow-wights were evil spirits sent by the Witch-king of Angmar to haunt a certain graveyard that the hobbits had to pass on their way to Bree. Tom Bombadil is a friendly but eccentric... entity, for lack of a better term, who comes to rescue the hobbits when the Barrow-wights capture them. SPN gets the Witnesses all wrong anyway, so I figured I might as well use Tolkien's idea and leave the dead in peace!
