Paddy was happily minding his own business, sipping on a pint, enjoying spending the odd day on the estate and seeing his boys. Even if the police thought he was dead... they were unlikely to find out whilst he sat in the Jockey, supping a drink.

Magic. She was tired of trying to explain it in her mind as anything but what it probably was. This place wasn't familiar to her, but she could recognize some of the place names. Like the Jockey.

Stepping inside, feeling out of place in her expensive clothes but choosing to ignore it, she glanced around. Paddy. Shit. He really was there. Trying not to act like a fool, she walked over and sat beside him. "Hi."

The sudden appearance of Uhura invited a more than sleazy whistle from one of the corners of the pub, until Paddy turned and glared. They quickly shut up. Almost mid-whistle, if it was possible. That dealt with, he found himself staring in surprise, but quickly regained some of his compsure, "You're not here to drag me back, are yous?"

She was used to it, so it didn't even faze her. She just brushed her hair back from her shoulders and leaned on the table, shaking her head. "No. I'm finished with that place." She gave him a smile. "Why do you always assume the worst?"

Paddy waved at Jamie to get her a drink, and within a few minutes, a pint of lager was in front of Uhura. "I'm glad. And... because I'm cynical and used to the worst." He smirked at her and had another sip, "But what does bring you here?"
