LJ Help?

I found a story that I would like to ready, but the way the writer's journal is set up is so strange/different that I can't comfortably read it.
If I remember correctly, it is possible to view someone else’s post in our own journal style.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about, and know how to... make it work?

Hi!!

At the very top of the page under where it says "....is your mutual friend" or "you are viewing.... journal" you should see a place that says 'view in my style". Click that and the page should change to your journal style.

Hope that works!

Hugs!!

I tried that, but unfortunately that doesn't work for free accounts; the 'view in my style' link isn't there. :(
Thanks though!

you can also just add "?style=mine" at the end of the html coding

Also, in addition to the style=mine tag, you can use ?format=light That will give you the page in plain black and white. I often prefer that for story reading.

I didn't know that was possible, that's maybe even better.
Thanks!!!
