My mom is thinking about getting a Nook (Color). We're going to B&N on Tuesday to look at one, but I would love to hear the pros and cons from someone who has one. Do you have a Nook? If so, please share.

I'm glad you are coming to Nashville! :0) As of right now I only plan on attending the con one day, and it isn't J2 day either. I'll have to see how things go between now and then before I decide if I am going the entire weekend. I need to worry about getting my car back (eventually), and also the money I am forking out for the Vampire Diaries con in Atlanta at the end of this month.

I would love to see you, even if it's just for a day.
I'm curious about the schedule, since for the first time ever J&J will be there on Saturday. But so far it looks like Sunday will be packed... so it's a good day to come.

*hugs tight* I can't imagine not having my car for weeks. I hope it will be fixed soon!

I don't know anything about the Nook, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Kindle!!

I don't know why, but my dad thinks Kindle isn't any good, so my mom won't even consider it :(

I don't know alot about the Nook. Sorry, but I think something to consider is glare for reading outside. Also they talk about the gazillion books available but a large number of them are public domain. It just may be something to ask. Good Luck.

We went to a B&N and looked at/tried the Nook. My mom wasn't pleased with it, so now she's looking at others.

We're planning on driving down to Birmingham, on Sunday evening, and the next morning visit Talladega National Forest/Scenic Byway before driving home.
