I'll get to the UFO thing later. First, I just wanted to say that the movie "Quarantine" was surprisingly good. Krissy and I went out Friday night and saw it and it was genuinely scary and ratcheted up the tension admirably throughout. The main actress, Jennifer Carpenter, does get shrill at times, screaming. Saw Quarantine when Loston was visiting last weekend, and I agree with you there. Not bad at all-- my main complaint is [SPOILERS] the end shot being spoiled in the movie's trailer [/SPOILERS]. To a lesser degree the shaky cam was a nuisance as well-- too many films of the current generation are using it to take a shortcut to visual storytelling, and it's getting old. Oh, well.
I enjoyed it in general, though.

Good luck on 24-Hour-Comics Day! I'd love to do that again sometime.
