Yeah, so I haven't updated the LJ this entire semester.  The semester got better after the initial couple of weeks.  The schedule wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.  I guess I was just disappointed more in the fact that last semester I had a "single serve" friend and whatever you want to call what we had, expired by the beginning of this

I hate people like that. Seriously..you give your time of day even to do something thoughtful, and they brush you off like it doesn't matter? People need to learn manners. How about those friends who call you whenever they have an issue, but when you need them, they're too busy or they just don't want to hear about it. It's these types of "friends" who make me want to reconsider spending my time with them. A wise woman once said, "Don't go to the hardware store and ask for raisins." I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you know someone is an unappreciative asshole, don't ask them for advice and don't give any in return. Might be harsh, but hey, you're only a doormat if you choose to be one.
