(to recap: our dog's sprawled out on death's doorstep and to get to the vet in time we had to drive our untaxed car into town - the one the police a few weeks earlier had told me never to drive

Crossed fingers for Gypsy. I've had a few mad dashes to the vets in my time and shhhh! one with a tax disc out of date!!
