While I have occasionally said that I could easily listen to Ian McKellen reading the phone book, I wasn't aware that others shared this interest. Yet, the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich is having a seminar on meteorology on Saturday, in which "Sir Ian McKellen will introduce the day with his famous recital of the Beaufort Windscale."

Maybe we can send ladyjillian down to hear him speak.

It took a surprisingly long time to find the actual text of the Beaufort Windscale, as it appears to be a common target for parody and expansion.
