The actress in Dream 2 represents longing that can not be fulfilled even in a dream state.
The characters in Dream 1 represent a host of internal needs holding you back from a desired escape. What do you need to escape? The dreaming state. Why? Because you need to pee, butwaking up destroys the dreamworld.
The bell is an overturned urinal. The white noise and ecstatic release are . . . well, you get the picture.
Or maybe your dreams are related to a yearning for meaning and companionship in an increasingly drab world. Could go either way, I guess: need to pee and/or personal fulfillment. I bet Maslow's Hierarchy applies in any case.
