anyone who's ever visited here knows our backyard is the Penn Station of animals; we've had everything from rodents to foxes to weasels to every sort of native bird. we feed, that's part of it. but we separate feeding the larger birds (late fall through winter into late spring) and the hummingbirds (late spring through summer into late fall)

the sad thing is we have two already. one's in the front yard. but the hummingbirds are like all yr sugar feederz iz ourz.
