Restarting from scratch?

Winterbreak is here! Woot Woot, its defientely been wayy to long since Ive played my sims game. I guess it becasue of all the content I have that kind of slows the game down but not much. It's annoying having to scroll through endless amount of stuff that I hardly use. But its so hard to just delete everything and start over again ( Read more... )

You never started a new game!? Wow, I can only imagine your loading screen. lol.

I've only ever restarted because of game problems so at first I hated it but soon it grew on me (I eventually got my game to where I wanted) so I really think it was good thing. Most of the content is still out there (whether in the graveyard or on someones computer) so I think you'll be okay that way.

Maybe you can go and "save" things you think might want in your new game (objects/lots/sims) and than go from there. I know I went on a massive SimPE sim packaging spree just before I restarted lol.

Also you'll love your loading screen after you restart(Even if it only lasts a little while lol).

Good luck and Happy Winter Break!

Nope never its a scary thought i know. I guess thats why I was afraid because I've never done it I felt like I'd loose everything. When really i didn't ^_^ I just copied the files onto my desktop just in case i might never find something I really loved. I remember a post by Ghen where she mentioned she was kind of like a hoarder with her files, same thing here l0l.

(its going to be hard though, going through endless amounts of unoraganized folders and weird file names if ido)

I finally wiped out everything just today *breathes into paper bag* It was hard at first. But as I went to download stuff I was really happy to be able to organize everything, nothing shall be disorganized ever again. I really had a ridiculous amount of content, nearly 50,000 files.
