Well after my 10hr, disaster riddled flight from Frankfurt to Dallas, and after a weekend with my parents finishing their church retreat.... I am finally back in their house, and petting and loving on my kitties!

well there was the small panic at the ticket counter when I went all crabby and shitty. I tried to keep it to myself... no need to let it out on the ticket lady, she was already trying her best.

:) ya we shall see. I hope to get hired at a school in the fall, so maybe that will afford me to pay for 2 trips! One can hope and pray.

Mom actually mentioned it to my stepfather and he actually said it'd be fine to have you stay with us, so no problem there :-P

oh I was going a mile a minute... half of me was soo mad at my aunt, and the other half mad at myself. But I got back, so that's all that matters.

Ya the kitties have warmed up again. took them a bit because I think they were wondering if i was leaving again... poor babies!

I can't wait for AT4 - and before that at the wedding - to see you again! It was a blast!!

ya really was disappointed not to get back to England again. Maybe it's some English conspiracy that made me miss my flight... but yes, got my luggage transfered before it went to London. wouldn't be so happy then.

If i could be paid to write and travel you'd never see me... I'd always be somewhere new!! I think anyone who travels is biased and envied because there are so many who don't get out of their own state or country. *takes down soap box*

Oh... I'd have been in tears if it was Holland... in Germany I know people understand English! Mom had lost her luggage a year back. first time in all our years of travel and i miss a flight! sheesh!

LOL they speak English in Holland, ya know?! Hey now Germany boarders it! I think getting stranded was my worst travel mishap although losing your luggage also tops it too... That happened on the flight back from Holland, on a different occasion but meh... We live and learn...
