Responses!!

Well i have gotten 3 responces to me passing my resume on to several openings I saw last week. One is in Hugo, OK, and is going to call (maybe) on Thursday to do a phone interview. It's a small daily paper. The second is in Roswell, NM and is also a small daily. The third I don't remember where its located but they are gathering more applications

I'm sure you already are using it, but just in case... check out http://journalismjobs.com/ I've had good luck on there... mostly with my resume catching eyes and them calling ME!

GOOD LUCK! Feels good to get responses. Even if they don't pan out, its good to get a response.

i found all my contacts on JournalismJobs.com. I love that site. I pimp it like a whore. and I use it like one too... oh so sad... but it gets results!!

Mom was excited when I saw that i had responses... we shall see what comes of the phone interview... who knows, maybe out of state (at last) will be my next destination!

LOL well it is also pretty country down there too. but yes, I have been asked to take pics of UFOs should I see one.

btw, did your package come yet?

*g* thanks sis! We shall see... i ran into the sheriff dispatcher at dinner and he said they are hiring for a daytime, 12 hour shifts, limited weekends, and pretty descent time off. So i may go and apply on fri or tomorrow... who knows.
