Spring Break - Almost!!

Mar 07, 2012 20:30

I am so glad that next week is Spring Break. I get a week off from my awesome kiddos, and if I am super lucky, a few days extra! I kind of love this subbing gig! But on the flip side, I am soooooo ready for a permanent class I can call my own ( Read more... )

I hate diets !!! Can't I lose weight without starving ? I like my food, so I have no idea how you did it, but YAY !!!! CONGRATS :D

SPRING BREAK = EXAM TIME for me :/

Say hi to your lovely parents for me ? And the girls, too, even though I only know one of them ;)

your Skype name is sweettia15

Totally understand!!! I hate diets too. This one I paid for. I needed more then just my waist line and jeans getting bigger as motivation. I'm now on the next phase, and will learn to eat more things, but in moderation. the end goal is to know what to eat, how much, and what can and can't be splurged on and how to accommodate that... basically, how to think about food differently. As I finished the last of the peanut butter jar...

We will work something out. Mom is pet sitting, and dad is job hunting, so no one will notice if I am in my own world... :-D

WIll say hi to everyone. Tanis is like Aset, it's scary!! she also knows no stranger!! Currently Isis is taking a cat nap... poor poor baby, so hard being a cat!!

Yay! That's awesome :D
Hope you have fun shopping and getting some cute new clothes! I hate clothes shopping, I had to do it last year when I lost all that weight, but it's nice having more than a couple pairs of jeans that actually fit. lol
Yay for spring break. It hasn't hit here yet, but it will over the next few weeks. We don't get days off, but the work load cuts back a bunch, giving us all a bit of a break from the super stress. :P
I get my vacation in April, and I am soooo looking forward to that. :D
Hope you have a great break, and fun with the family!

I don't mind shopping, it's the fact that I tend not to try things on, which is a slight problem. However, shopping because your pants keep falling to the ground (kind of like the boys at school) is good motivation to try on the jeans. :-D

I'm happy for spring break. I loved teaching, but I love subbing too... you get to say no, if you don't want to work!! However the pay is crummy....

WOOT love me some vacation time! Any adventures toward TX? :)

Ya, that would be a problem, thank God for belts. Lol
I'm the same way, I don't like trying stuff on either, it's such a pain sometimes.
Boo for crummy pay. I know how that goes :P
Have you been looking for full time stuff, or are you just going to stick to the subbing? That would be interesting I think, getting to sort of do something different every day.
I wish! I would love a TX trip, except for those ridiculous gas prices!! Lol
I miss you! We need a con or a vaca or something :D

YAY for Spring Break!! :D Whooot! Sounds like the sub gig is pretty awesome! I feel about the same with my work status. At the moment it's more like part time (only had to go in Mon and Fri this week) - they just don't have enough stuff to give me right now but hopefully that will change soon. In the meantime I'm trying to enjoy it while I can... can get the annoying necessities like laundry and cleaning and food shopping done. That's always good!

Great job on the new skinny!! But I bet it felt amazing to eat pasta and cereal again. So many foods I had to cut out when I had the stomach troubles after my honeymoon. But once I got better I started reintroducing them. Though I still can't really eat salad - lettuce hates me! Whaaaa.... Oh well, maybe someday!

Love ya hon! BTW a big THANK YOU for my birthday card! I love it!! *snuggles*

YEAH for cards!!! Clearly it was late, but that's ok, you weren't at your house any way... soo... um... planned it?

I do like the days off, laundry and food shopping tend to be overlooked otherwise! We really need a few Daniel's to do that though...

Thanks! Have you tried Spinach instead? Maybe that's a bit lighter, still ruffage, but I don't think it's as harsh... I'm loving the new skinny! I weigh less then I did when I moved here 5.5 years ago (ok, but like maybe, 5lbs, but still...LESS!) I'm about my HS weight actually... SWEET. :-D

Oh that pasta was soooooo good, and this morning's cereal was divine. I wish I could have cereal AND pasta the same day, but not yet. In about a week I can have a sandwich with 2 pieces of bread. Right now, I can have one slice... but I am feeling like a person who doesn't have to neglect the goodies!! Just eat in moderation.

Super cool! I don't go to Allen that often - usually just to go to the awesome outlet mall there. But I went to college in the Richardson/Plano area, so not too far from there. :)

So did I. I went to Collin College when it was known as CCCC! Up in Plano. Wacky!
