I want to decorate my bedroom with a beachy feel, but i want to avoid a total over-the-top beachy theme with seashells everywhere. what i'm working with is a fairly large room that has a blue ceiling, beige walls, and white trim. the bedding and curtains (well, future curtains) will be all white as well. i was hoping to find some posters/prints ( Read more... )

i once had a beach chair in my room with red and white stripe towel.

maybe some empty bottles and/or bottlecaps?

recently we went to lake michigan and i was dismayed at the lack of wood/shells/rocks on the beach. it was as if someone combed the beach of all artifacts 'round the clock. i found ONE piece of sea glass...one! lake erie is like a gold mine for that sort of thing (at least it was when i was little).
