Oh, nostalgia

I don't know whether it's because I'm at home for the longest time since last summer, but recently I seem to be tidying my room a lot. I'll think about sorting out a messy drawer overflowing with paper and it ends up in me carrying bags upon bags of rubbish out of my room. I'm a ridiculous hoarder; going through drawers and cupboards, I found stuff ( Read more... )

Aww, I like all your diaries and planners, hehe.

I just don't throw things out. I keep all my old homework planners and birthday cards and absolutely everything. Just off in the corner, safe and sound. XD; I'm such a packrat.

I think maybe you're motivating me to organize. I feel it bubbling up in the pit of my stomach. Shit. This won't be fun; I haven't cleaned my room in a looong time.

You know you'll feel better once you've done it though, right?

Yeahhhh... it was a fleeting feeling, though. XD; Since I have to pack this week, I think I'll end up doing it anyway.

I've been doing so much of that too. The cupboard was tackled last week, which still had primary school books and work in. And a year 8 biology workbook, amongst various other school crap. I couldn't bring myself to throw out our art project on Rio though, that was awesome! I hated throwing out my homework diaries ages ago though.. remember the page of doughnuts? Page of song lyrics? And little pictures of stuff?

And then yesterday I rearranged my book shelf, for no real reason except that I had books in there I didn't want anymore, and it was bugging me. I stumbled upon a notebook containing poems/lyrics that I used to post on Larry's community, 100_dreams. LMAO they were SO SO bad. I used to be the most emo kid ever.

I want to see the blurred bit... looks like it's about me and Harriet (and our falling out). LOL at the part about 'Megan's party will just be about Harriet trying to make out with Dan'.

Finally... YOU STOLE MY NOVEL IDEA!! But, do it.

I've still got all the homework diaries. Remeber your page of alcohol on the back of my year 7 homework diary? Still got it. And yeah, my year 11 homework diary with 'hardcore' lyrics all over it and then you wrote Loch Lomand on it aahahaha.

It wasn't about you, it was about me ahahahah. Similar to your 'I wish he could be my boyfriend!' thing. And it was 'MEGAN trying to make out with Dan, who won't be interested at all' or something :P

Aaahahahaha I was joking. I can't write for shit.

I've done that once. It was hard to do too, as I tend to keep everything, but it gets bad when it's stuff you forgot about and just clutters your room. D: I need to do it again though, 'cause even if I throw out half of it, I keep saving MORE as I go.

...And I will NOT talk about the embarrassing diaries/angedas I have. Or notebooks of half written mary sue fics. >__>

I think everyone has hideously embarrassing things hiding in their room. It's just part of growing up :D

I had such a girl!boner for Tidus in the 9th grade. EMBARRASSING. Now, I think he's a bit of a wanker. Oh, the times they are a'changin'.

I am a ridiculous hoarder, man. I just did what you did about a month ago, and it was both hilarious and frightening. It also gave me a warm, fuzzy feeling a couple of times. I found my journals from 3rd and 4th grade again. Every time we are reunited, the lulz commences.

I moved into this house and room when I was 4. In those 14 years, I've done a few mini-clean outs of primary school homeworks, but NEVER a big tidy up, ever. I have a feeling once I do one my room will be so much 'bigger' xD right now it's too small to entertain ideas about cluttering. I am a clutter cleaner.
