ooooooo this is a really great idea! i've got a few suggestions:

•anything by jack's mannequin; mainly the mixed tape, bruised, i'm ready, dark blue, into the airwaves, mfeo: part 1- made for each other, part 2 - you can breathe, and lonely for her [which is pretty much almost all of their songs anyway]

•motion city soundtrack - together we'll ring in the new year [heads up damage control there's a ring around her finger]

•fall out boy - love will tear us apart

that's all i can think of right now, you've got a lot of them already ;D

I don't think I've heard any songs from Jack's Mannequin or Motion City sountrack but I just went to check the lyrics and it looks like good songs. And I love that song from fall out boy!! Thanks for these great suggestions!!!

I just randomly stumbled upon this, and although We Both Go Down Together is a delightful song, it really has very little to do with Luke and Lorelai. Like if you look at the lyrics and stuff... the guy is basically crazy and he raped the girl in the field and now he is committing murder/suicide with his pregnant wife. Yeah...

I totally saw it differently... I guess I was blocking some parts of the lyrics! And now that you're poiting it out, I think I'm gonna take it out... And thank you for the suggestions, I know Your Magic is working and the dress looks nice on you (awesome songs btw) but I don't know the other one so, I'm gonna go and download them :P I'll be able to judge them after that!! Thanks!!

I'm might sure if these are exactly what you're aiming for, but these songs always bring Luke and Lorelai to my mind...

ben folds - the luckiest (it's such a love song)
copeland - you have my attention (sounds to me like it could be luke's point of view)
the spill canvas - so much (i love the lyrics "if you feel your grip getting loose, just know that i'm right next to you")

And I second the opinion for a song by Jack's Mannequin. :) Hope this helps.

I have to admit that I think I've never heard a Ben Folds song before so I'm gonna go download that one just right now!! And I'll download that Copeland's song too and I think I'm gona but "So Much" on the mix... I LOVE that song, I don't know why the hell I haven't thought about it!! Thanks so much!!!
