It's amazing how one class and one documentary is all it takes to set me on a phase. Anyway, this is the first of what will probably be a series of icons from German Expressionist artists - this group is the work of Conrad Felixmüller. Found via google image search.

German Expressionism. Bah. Not one of my favorite artistic movements.

Oh, see, I really like it. I don't like, for example, impressionism -- it's too "pretty", you know? But this expressionism? kicks ass. In my opinion. ;)
I'm just in love with my German class in general. We're doing expressionist film next week, oh-so-excited!
Have you read any of the poetry? Some of that's pretty awesome too, I think.

Ugh. German class. You traitor. (German expressionist film is awesome, though. If you don't see The Dybbuk, you're being cheated.)

As you most likely already know, you're an affiliate of obsessiveicons, which is why I'm contacting you.
