They're currently at work on "The Runaway Bride," which runs on Christmas Day. The new season won't start until next spring. But if you liked Captain Jack, he'll be back in October, in the spinoff series, Torchwood.

And what do you MEAN "I should have known David Tennant's Doctor would be your type"? :-P
Just because he's prettier? I admit, I love the pretty. Who doesn't? I still like both 9 and 10, but 10 has a certain silliness about him that's just compeltely endearing.

And really, that's something of a new combination for Doctor Who. Both Patrick Troughton (#2) and Tom Baker (#4) had plenty of silliness about them, but they did the show back in the days when the Doctor wasn't thought of as someone that pretty. I suspect Paul McGann (#8) would have been similar to David Tennant if he'd been able to do more than just the FOX TV movie.

Disc 5 of the Eccleston Who is on its way. I think I will be a sobbing mess. I hear good things about Tennant, but I really don't think he's going to top Eccleston for me. I've a longstanding attraction to that man's characters, both sinister and sweet. He just...does it. For me. Yeah.

I need 65 dollars...only 64.34 to go. :-D
I thought Eccleston was brilliant. But Tennant just sorta...glows from within with a little boy-like joy and glee and absolute silliness that I find completely irresistible. His "serious face" isn't as good as Eccleston's, I'll admit.
So much to love all around...
