Cordelia stared out the window, watching the teeny tiny world below her. Oddly enough, this was nothing new. Not because she took several trips across the world with her family back, but when she had been a higher being, she had a very similar view. And no, she didn't miss it whatsoever. Not being able to feel much or anything, except maybe worry over her friends, or affect anything was horrible. Not to mention the fact she had been planted up there for that horrible demon to hitch a ride back to earth with her. She shuddered inwardly at those faraway memories

He didn't exactly mind the private jet. It was quick, speedy, and had the added bonus of guaranteeing he'd be able to get off when it landed. Pilots tended to be a bit more sensitive to what time they landed when one of their passengers was a vampire.
"Cordy's right. We should check into the hotel before going out to do any reconaissance."
He doubted Gunn had exactly had that in mind when he'd made the suggestion, but that's what they should be doing. Angel had already blown through Louisiana, decades ago, but he hadn't really done much sightseeing at that time. Sticking to the sewers meant he'd missed all the finer sighs to be seen.
"I wasn't exactly talking reconnaissance on Bourbon Street," Gunn said with a laugh. "But alright, checking into the hotel first, then do a little exploring." Of some variety or another. Gunn was really enjoying this so far, so much so that he had to remind himself that they were actually here for another reason. To stop some sort of apocalypse.
Once the plane landed, Gunn started to gather his bags, which were once more than what he used to pack, well, if he had every went anywhere to pack. Now he had to bring things like garment bags for his suits and special bags for his shoes. It was all so weird. Cordy actually had to help him figure out which bags to brings. That would be something she would know.
"So, what hotel are we staying at, anyway?" Something ritzy, since it was on the Wolfram & Hart tab, but Gunn didn't actually know the name of it. As the CEO, that was more something that Angel would probably know about.
The pilot announced that they were heading into their decent, which brightened Cordelia's spirits. Post-vision flying wasn't all that great, even if she sometimes got all floaty during a vision. Obviously, the side-effects were less severe than they used to be pre-higher being demon thingy, but she still had a bit of a headache.
"It better be something fancy," she said, "If Wolfram and Hart can afford this private jet, they better go all out with our accommodations. Especially if we're trying to, you know, save the world and all."
The plane landed soon after and she began gathering her belongings. "Finally," she said, stretching her arms.
