Kate was woken up pretty much in the middle of the night by that text. She didn't mind that so much, though, after she'd fumbled the phone into her hand from the nightstand while trying to keep from jostling Bod too badly, and then blearily read the text.
It took Mitchell a few minutes to respond - mostly because he was busy pouring shots for everyone in the house. Yeah, Annie's back! maybe we should do a housewarming
Jack was still in New York. It turned out that three nights spent in a sewer eating rats did not increase his motivation to get back to London and find a job. This was fine, for now.
