When I got to the US, I asked some natives about sweetcorn on pizza, just in case it was only my substandard experience talking when I said they don't have it there. They did jawdrop in unison at the mention of it. One said "Hell no!" The other said, "DOUBLE Hell no!"

So there you have it.

I don't like corn on anything except a cob. And even then I'll only eat it if it's there.

No one, I mean NO ONE, in the States has heard of sweetcorn, forget on a pizza! Yep, my jaw hit the floor the first time I was presented with a sweetcorn and tuna pizza. Has grown on me tho :-).

When I lived in Illinois, there were sweetcorn festivals around harvest time. But no, never on pizza. In Illinois, there is enough feed corn being grown that they need to specify.
