SGA Fic: Predatory Analysis (Dex/Zelenka, McKay/Sheppard, PG-13)

So, for my first full-length story in the fandom, I was suddenly hit with the desire to write a pairing that I have never even seen *mentioned*, let alone written before. Of course, being that I am such an OTP girl, rest assured that there is a healthy dollop of Sheppard/McKay hiding out inside as well.

What I like about unusual pairings is the way that they require a plausible story to be constructed. I thought the first scenes with Radek and Ronon, and then Ronon and John, very nicely done.

No, seriously, it was fine - it's just that the earlier scenes are more important to setting up the plausibility of the pairing, and I thought you did it convincingly. The utensil scene in particular really made me smile, because, that's exactly what *I* was thinking.

See, what's funny is that in my last fandom, I had a reputation for writing too *much* hot sex, but in this one, I haven't found my porn muse yet. My current WIP has McKay wanking to the idea of two Sheppards, if that counts :)

Yes, I kept waiting and waiting for somebody to comment on the utensils, and nobody ever did, so I did it myself.

Seriously, you saying this means a lot to me, because this is such a crazy unrealistic pairing, and I really wanted to make sure it came through as a valid possibility.

The voices in this fic were so dead on, it was as though the characters were reading them in my head. This was so very good, thank you for crossing the great divide into new slashiness.

Not a big fan of Ronon so far (I have an unreasoning dislike of dreads...) but this was very interesting, and this Zelenka is plausible. Nice work!

Yeah, Ronon isn't my favorite either (although I do find him to be pretty hilarious). This is one of those things that unexpectedly ate my brain.
