This was not what she had expected to be doing as her first real mission for the Earl. "This," as it were, included acquiring a fake I.D., a journal with a strange creature in the cover page, and of course, being sent to a fußboll game in Turkey with the intent of killing one of the team's star players.
Not exactly an everyday occurrence for most.
But that's what being a Noah was; extra-ordinary. Miranda sighed softly to herself as she walked along the halls of the stadium, watching her steps. It... Wasn't the ideal assignment. Sort of. She'd already killed him once, without much trouble. And killing him would mean not having to worry about him ever telling her siblings about her nasty lapse in judgement that resulted in her returning his Innocence unharmed. But there was that stupid voice in the back of her head telling her this was all one big mistake.
She did her damnedest to ignore it.
"Karina Johnson," she told the security guard, flashing her beautifully forged I.D. as she passed. They simply nodded and let her through. "Karina" allowed herself a smirk as she passed through to the significantly quieter hall that lead to locker room. She'd seen her target run off the field during halftime; he'd be alone and unguarded, easy to take out and maybe even without his Innocence.
She suppressed a less-than-sane laugh as she pushed open the doors to the locker room. The excitement and adrenaline high that came before a fight was pulsing through her veins and doing wonders to suppress that obnoxious voice.
