To those who have never had the shrimp Cup Noodles (with shrimp!), the three (Three!) shrimp are slightly bigger than peas. We use 16/20 shrimp at Tommy's (16-20 per pound), these are more like 1600/2000. That said, they're pretty delicious, just like all ramen.

So today was a pretty good day overall. Went to the doctor and confirmed that I seem to have shingles. He gave me an antiviral, though it's too soon to tell if it's working. What has been a life saver has been the calamine lotion, which reduces the pain to the level of a moderate sun burn and has finally allowed me to get some good quality sleep ( Read more... )
