I think this one's my favourite. I absolutely loved it. It's just so THEM. Annie's voice going up an octave while thoughts go mile-a-minute to the worst conclusions at Jeff's strange proposal? So her. And Jeff? *sigh* Oh Jeff. I could totally see him coming to that poignant realization that yes, he is going to die before her, and yes it sucks, but he also needs for her to give him that comfort of knowing that she won't spend the rest of her life miserable and alone after he's gone. It's selfish but selfless at the same time.. is that weird to say? I also really like how you managed to keep an air of easiness and affectionate teasing between them for a conversation addressing such a depressing topic - again, very JA. The end with Annie's Rich suggestion is GOLD. She needs to tease Jeff like this more often on the show. Great job ( ... )

Laughing my fricken' ass off - it was definitely supposed to say 555 words, which is why I was so happy about it, lol. I'll go change that to stop confusing people.

And I didn't reaaaaaally think that you'd complain or anything - you seem far too cool to do that. Mostly it just amused me that I wrote this, and then I came here, and then laughed.\

Okay, I am far too sleepy for eloquence, lol. (Especially considering how amused I am now that "eloquence" and "lol" start with the same sound)

I love that Jeff is being all altruistic, but when Annie actually starts to consider people he loses it. So cute.

This is by far my new favorite drabble of yours! It's a super depressing subject matter but you manage to keep it so light and teasing that it just WORKS and I'm sitting here smiling instead of being sad. And I love that it's Jeff's idea for her to remarry but then has all these objections about the guys she considers. The Rich thing was priceless :D

So I just realized that I said this was set at night, and had them eating breakfast....Hm. Not that there's anything wrong with having cereal for dinner, but I think i shall fix this. lol.
