He can’t help but think it looks like a photograph negative; the sky is black, the sand is silver, and everything that shouldn’t shine does so with eye-watering brightness. The moonlight desaturates every color into a shade of gray, and breeze absent on shore is livelier over the water, bringing the sound of the bell on a buoy and the dull thud of the fishing boats against the pier.

Thank you! :D I was just about to go to bed when I decided to check my f-list, and there this was!

What a great story -- it's flirty and fun, with action too. Good for Tonks, taking things into her own hands! But I also love the way she snaps into Auror mode immediately once there's a threat.

Good thing Remus did save Tonks from Mundungus for this mission, lol.

And what an ending! Remus with a perfectly Marauderish prank, and Tonks... with the perfect response. :)

I love that Tonks took charge, didn't trip over anything and caught the bad guy. She is a freakin' Auror after all!
