I suspect this would be far more amusing if I'd seen Avatar or cared about Pocahontas.

Completely not related with this entry but saw in the Post this morning that

'Forth-line center and faceoff specialist David Steckel has signed a three-year contract extension that will keep him in Washington through the 2012-2013 season.'

Now I would have rather heard that Backstrom signed an extension but having Steckel on the caps for another 3 years does make me pretty happy.

I read that too and did a little happy dance at breakfast.

I think Backstrom signing an extension is just a matter of time.
