Pokemon Video Game Championships 2009

I've decided to enter the Pokemon VGC this year. The regional tournament is being held in Phoenix on Saturday, May 23rd. I've been spending way too much time building up my team, and it's tentatively looking like this:

What i never seemed to understand is like, aren't there... 30? legendary pokemon now? I mean, seriously? Legendary is nothing now, and that makes me sad.

I have the same mindset that you do. I EV train, etc, but I do it with the Pokemon I like, not the same 15 or so that every in the freaking metagame uses. If I remember my team correctly, I had Leafeon, Kingdra, Magmortar, Honchkrow(Pimpkrow, since he's shiny), and I think the other two were undecided. I was lucky enough with my Leafeon to have a perfect IV in Attack, so he's pretty damn unstoppable if he gets off a Swords Dance.

BTW, I have a ton of shinies. I spent a lot of time hanging out around the Gamefaqs trading boards, so if you want, I can post a list of what I have and maybe we can work out a trade. I still need to fill out my 'Dex in Diamond.

Also, Bellossom is the goddamn man. Flower. Thing.
