The official "stay at home" order

Yep, it's here.  STAY AT HOME.  Like I haven't been doing that for years now.  Of course, as will happen, I don't want to stay at home right now.  Why is that always the case?  On the plus side, the streets are freaking empty.  Even the highway, which I usually steer clear of.  Right now, I can get from here to there and back again, very quickly ( Read more... )

Good luck. it's a little weird at first, but it's amazing how quickly you can get used to it. Hang in there and stay well.

Thanks. We're not doing bad at all and we are pretty used to being at home together. We have plenty of food, water, and the internet.

We are doing okay, too. The place is big enough that we can get out of each other's way when we need a little quiet time and we are not suffering.

One of the many depressing parts of this is the confirmed knowledge that most adults were NOT in the habit of washing their hands before this.

-_-

*big hugs* Stay strong. It won't last forever. At least we have each other, here. <3

That is depressing and kind of scary. People are just lazy. They have to be smacked in the nose and even then, sometimes they don't wake up. I guess all we can hope for is that, at least, some will change their habits, even after all this is just a memory.

Thanks, it is nice to come out here, even if it's just to hang out for awhile. 😎

I know. SO lazy. I can't even acknowledge the existence of most people or I'll just lose my mind.

I felt the same way, I love being at home but as soon as we heard we were to safe home. I immediately wanted to go out somewhere. It’s like you don’t want something until you can’t have it. Hubby and I went for a long ride in the country last weekend and it was so freeing.
Glad to see you back 🤗 🙃

We've been out a couple of times just driving around town. Checked out areas we haven't seen in quite a few years. It was fun to see the changes. We have 2 vehicles and since they both really need to be driven, it was a good excuse.

Thanks, it's nice to be back. 😎
