Wow, that's beautiful. I never went up to Gifu castle, but spent the night in the park. I'm pretty sure I didn't even notice there was a castle! I did see the ropeway though, strange.

I think there's so much German because the river is called the Japanese Rhine (Rhein). I saw tons of signs about this in Inuyama.

That's probably because you can't really see the castle when in the park.

I love the view from afternoon to night.
And the castle must have been amazing.I love your photos so much.
