As far as I know, yes those statues are for aborted babies, children that died before birth, or children that died very young. I'm not sure what the whole story is, though.

And I loled at the Doraemon too haha.

I've never been there but looks quite lovely. The colors came out so nicely in your photos.

Sounds about right, ne? Somebody else provided this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ksitigarbha

Doraemon: Yah, it was there, hidden, and so random and I was like WTF!!!!

Thanks a lot ^-^

I love, love, love the garden pictures. I need to go to that temple next time...
And Osaka is wonderful day and night. I love that city so much.
It seems your little escapade was very productive! :D

Thanks, thanks, thanks!!!! (^__________________^)v
Wow, I didn't know you love Osaka THAT much! That's cool ^-^

It was, and in the end I'm happy I went. I can't do that every month or every other week (it would get boring anyways and the MoneyZ byebye ;o; ...), but once in a while it's nice to escape during a "normal" week :D

I understand you perfectly well, but I also want to study Japanese and need to balance things out a bit. It's okay the way it is right now :D
If I could take Taiko lessons it would be perfect, but ... you know what inaka we're talking about here, ne?! -__-;

Kyoto, too? :)

I remember a lot of this! That's why I'm trying to get Take to come with me to Kyoto instead of making me stay at the apartment. Osaka is great but there really isn't much. ><

Maybe it's because he's so used to it, but Take seems so bored when I drag him to temples and shrines...so I never really manage to snap tons of pictures.. We kind of just rush through. so, when I see your pictures, I get this happy feeling. Isn't it cool how some things that are so old can be so fascinating?

I told you before, you should just go alone, honestly!!! You'll miss out so much stuff!!!
I prefer travelling alone most of the time and I HATE HATE HATE it when people run through attractions and stuff while I want to see everything slowly, stop, take photos etc. (>_>'')

Maybe it's because he's used to it, but some people are like that even when they go somewhere they've never been before. Maybe it's just your bf's character. Not a bad thing, but if you're different you should go with a friend with the "same speed" ;) or alone :)

I took the same shot of the Arashi poster in Harajuku!! XD
When I saw it I was wonder why Jun was there? Because I've been seeing ads for the New Super Mario Bros Wii. But now I've seen the ads for the MarioKart. So it's connecting lol.

Love the shots. Are you enjoying your new camera? (Sorry, last post I read was about you buying the camera. been away from LJ since then! I'll back track and read old posts)

Love the pictures of the cute turtles XD Wonder why there are so much!! lol

Haha XD Those posters seem to be everywhere right now!! I love being surrounded by Arashi (*__*)v

Yes, I am indeed - although there were some problems in the beginning, but now it's all good. I still have to get used to it. I'm still learning about its full potential. Thanks for asking ^-^

Welcome back!!!! *hugs*

See this is why I LOOOOVE Osaka - so much fun things to do and see! Love the turtles, the heron, the butterfly, the flowers, the waterfall and - Doraemon ^_______^ hehe
I'm planning a trip to Osaka in the near future, and although I read in this stupid guidebook that Shitennoji wasn't that much of a temple, I'm sure I'll go there now after seeing how beautiful it really is :) and I forgot you could actually go up in the Umeda Sky building as well, so thanks for sharing all there great tips!

Everybody loves Osaka!! Honestly!!! Even most of my Japanese (and non-Japanese) coworkers do! I wonder why, there's not really that much, but it has its own charme and ... yeah. I like Osaka a lot, too, but it's not my fav Japanese city ;)

It seems you wanna go to MANY MANY places in Japan. Better plan a loooooooooooong trip :D
Hope you can see everything you want to :)

You're welcome <3
