I thought it was time to review my TBR list.  The GoodReads Spring Challenge really helped to focus my reading and I got through 27 books during the three months of the challenge.  I also won the UK only Smile Day RABCK in May which resulted in me receiving 20-odd more books through the post.  I've also found some books that I have had for a while ( Read more... )

Found another list of books I 'must read'. This one was selected by the Guardian's Review team and a panel of expert judges and includes only novels - no memoirs, no short stories, no long poems - from any decade and in any language. Blue indicates books I have read, red indicates books on my TBR list.

2007 was a crap year reading wise. I have to be in 'the mood' for reading and I was so overworked last year that I just didn't feel like reading much. I would start books, but couldn't concentrate enough to understand the plots.
