Alexandre Desplat would be lovely. I have the scores for New Moon and Benjamin Button, and they are both great, Benjamin Button in particular; it's not just epic stuff, but really soft and subtle sometimes.

Personally, I feel like my life isn't epic enough for Howard Shore, haha. I'd like maybe James Newton Howard, as The Village is my favorite score, and it looks like he also did the one for Peter Pan (the one from 2004 or whatever it was). However, The Secret Life of Bees score by Mark Isham is really good, and rather suits me, I think, so maybe him. I've never looked up any of his other stuff, though. Rachel Portman (Chocolat) is also good. But I'd probably go with JNH.

Hmmm yes, The Village is also one of my favorites but I also love River Queen by Karl Jenkins

and this score for Finding Neverland by Jan Andrzej Paweł Kaczmarek is beautiful too!

Mmm, the one for Finding Neverland is gorgeous (plus the scene the video shows is one of my favorite from that film). I haven't heard/seen River Queen, but from the preview, it looks/sounds good.

River Queen is one of my favorite New Zealand films. I highly recommend it. I think it's been posted on YouTube if you're bored one day :)
