I quite like this. First of all, I like that you take the skills that made Ronon a good warrior and kept him alive as a Runner and bring them to bear on how he deals with the Lanteans. And his sort-of-flirting with Radek was cute--kind of like he was scouting out unfamiliar territory. Loved the chess (and the chess metaphor).

I wouldn't mind reading what happens next, if you are inclined to write it. If not, thanks for this story. :-)

I like this Ronon and his observations of all the different people from Earth. I liked his watching Zelenka and then later, getting jealous when Zelenka's attention was not on him. Great fic.

Oh, I liked this story so much! Lovely insights into Ronon's thinking, and well-done slow-move from Ronon's objectivity about Zelenka to a subjective liking for the man! I still find the pairing unusual to think about but only because Ronon is portrayed in the series as warrior-only; were we to see a more varied exploration of Ronon's temperament, personality and thinking, as well as his background, I'd probably go for this pairing easily!

Which is aside from the point! The point is, your story is wonderful and I hope you write more about Ronon and Zelenka, as well as anything else that suits your fancy! I'm friending you, in the hope that you do! Hope you don't mind!

So glad you enjoyed it. I haven't written Ronon/Radek often, prefer Radek/Rodney, but it's a fun pairing to challenge myself with. *grin* I'm really glad the pairing worked for you. :)
