Oh, wow. This is gorgeous.

I love the way the details ground this in reality -- sand between Ronon's toes, his fingers and Elizabeth's.

I think you're right that Rodney would cite pacemakers and prosthetics -- and that he probably sees his decision to awaken Elizabeth's nanites as akin to his decision to heal Ronon's scars. And that John would understand where Elizabeth's coming from.

I don't think this is at all where the show is going to take us next week, but I wish it would. :-)

Aw, wow, thank you! It was so HARD to figure out how everyone would react and in some views it would be a different thing to turn the nanites off than not turn them on at all, and in some views it wouldn't.

I don't think it's where the show is going either but if I can't have this, I'd like some hot-and-evil Replicator Elizabeth, please. ;)

Aw, thank you. It was hard to write and hard to sort out everyone's potential reactions and whether turning the nanites off would be different from not turning them on in the first place. *hands you a handkerchief*

Smitty. Three days I've been away and then I have twenty minutes online and YOU BREAK ME. This is just... oh. Clean and simple and oh my god, I have tears at the corners of my eyes.

OH MY GOD. OH MY FUCKING GOD. *flap*

This is so short, but so brutally beautiful. Sometimes a fic happens and you didn't know it's exactly what you've been waiting for until you read it. Gorgeous.
